Okay so what are MK and Ashley Olsen not super talented at because these boots are gorgeous and much to my surprise extremely comfortable! Whether you like them or not, no one can deny that they are one of the most talented (if not the most), involved, and intelligent “celebrity” designers out there. Check out the incredible spread they had in the New York Times Style section yesterday: http://bit.ly/T3O3T . Now let’s seriously worship this boot for a minute: the shape looks great on the leg with the pintuck detail, the button, the built in platform, and sculpted heel. This is probably going to be the first boot I will wear before I probably should be breaking knee high boots out for the season: so basically I might be wearing them next week! It looks great with the E+J leggings and one of their boyfriend button downs, yet it also looks insane with a pair of jeans tucked inside, a crisp helmut lang white shirt, finished with an E+J blazer.

We’re not done worshipping yet. I wasn’t ready to commit to a bootie last year: everyone’s consensus seemed to be that last years boots in general from most designers were not amazing by far. Designers really went for it this fall – we had the toughest time choosing the best riding boot, bootie, denim boot, sexy stiletto boot, etc. but of course we chose and edited and this bootie was one of our favorites and of course it also is from Elizabeth + James. It has a pewter metallic finish to the suede and slips right on the foot. The fit is great and the comfort is superb: from tights and a dress to stirrup leggings (oh yes they are in and we love the ones we have) and a long tunic – these booties are definitely going to be getting a lot of play for this season. Thank you MK and Ashley for bringing us incredibly designed boots at great price points: we can pick up two or more for the price of some of the other boots out there and we are actually going to wear these A LOT!!
